Enjoy a feast for the senses and host a private kitchen party. Fill your belly with inspiration, expand your culinary repertoire and gather your friends in a fun and casual setting. Try something different for your next dinner party, birthday celebration, interactive team building experience, family reunion or staff party.

A 8 person minimum attendance or equivalent cost is required to reserve the space for private kitchen parties.

Thai Classics. $85.00 per person.

Thai cooking places emphasis on lightly prepared dishes with strong aromatic components and a spicy edge. It is known for its complex interplay of at least three and up to four or five fundamental taste senses in each dish or the overall meal: sour, sweet, salty, bitter and spicy. Thai Beef Noodle Salad, Green Thai Chicken Curry and Mango Tapioca. Gluten and Dairy Free.

Inspiration from Chinese Grandma’s Kitchen. $85.00 per person.

Growing up in Taiwan with tastes and smells from Grandma Kitchen, Sue shares family recipes from the Sichuan Province. Following her Grandma’s footsteps in the kitchen, Sue learned from Grandma via osmosis. She believes in enhancing the flavors of the ingredients and let’s the food speak for themselves. Menu sampling: Sichuan Eggplant with Minced Pork, 3 cup chicken,Jian-Dui (dessert sesame balls). Gluten and Dairy Free.

Middle Eastern Cuisine. $85.00 per person.

As a crossroads between Europe, Asia and Africa, the Middle East has long been a hub of food and recipe exchange. Join us for a mouth watering class and transport yourself to the flavors and spices of the Middle East. Baba Ganoush and Tabouli salad with flat bread, Seared lamb chop with mustard, pan jus and Sticky honey and almond cigar in phyllo.

Mystery Box. $70.00 per person.

This kitchen party is different from our usual. Each student will be required to bring an ingredient that they would like to learn to cook. Choices are protein, vegetables, starches or fruit. Watch a pro, who is always looking for something a little more challenging, whip up random ingredients on the spot into a tapas style meal. Get OUTSIDE the box, by using what is IN the box. Sue’s quirky take on food will bring a welcome dose of humour into your kitchen. Never again will you have that blank look when you open your fridge and see a plethora of food but have no idea what to cook. Start seeing cooking the way Sue does – as an excuse to play with your food.

  • 8 guest minimum and 13 guests maximum.

  • We do not host stags/staggettes and/or bachelorette/bachelor parties.

  • A minimum of 3 weeks advanced booking required.

  • Prices do not include tax.

  • 15% gratuity will be added to all private culinary events.

  • $300 non-refundable deposit required to confirm the chef.

  • Based on chef and kitchen availability.

  • Please notify of any allergies or food restrictions.

  • We try to source local organic food when possible. Menu selection are subject to availability.

  • Customization are subject surcharge.

In order to respect our overnight guests, Kitchen Party events that have not booked the entire lodge

  • Kitchen Parties start at 6:00 pm or earlier and end promptly at 9:30 pm.

  • Kitchen Parties take place primarily in the kitchen and dining area with limited use of the lobby.

Wine and Beer

  • House wine by the glass and wine by the bottle available.

  • Corkage ($15.00/bottle) or set group corkage rate of $15.00 per person.

  • Private cooking classes with wine pairings: additional $100.00/evening + wine costs.

  • Private cooking classes with Sommelier led wine pairings: additional $250.00/evening + wine costs.
